Hello friends many of the new comers in Linux think it is difficult to install software (Package) But it is very simple in actual here is the way explaind in simple way hope you all will like this all these methods are applicable to install software on any Linux environment or <br />

Many windows users think that installation in Linux is similar to windows, i.e., search the file over the internet, download it, get the setup file and execute it. This will install the application in their system. This is not entirely true in Linux, though apps can be installed in that way too. In linux, we store all the "setup" files of apps often in a single website, which is called repository. Here you can access/install/uninstall/know info of the apps using a program called package manager, which is <font color="blue">apt-get in ubuntu, yum in fedora </font>etc. You issue simple commands that automatically download the files of apps from the repository and install it in your machine.<br />
<br />
For those who fear the command line, Ubuntu has a wonderful GUI of their package manager in the form of software center. Here you can search the applications you need, read their reviews, rate it, download/install/uninstall it and do even more. The software center stores all the info of the setup files, (which is known as packages in Linux world), in your computer, known as "cache". As software is updated everyday, the cache of your PC may get outdated and you many need to refresh the cache to access new and updated software. Often it may happen that the software you need is not available in the official repositories of your distribution. at that time, you may need to add it in form of "ppa" to make it availiable to install. You can search more about this things in the internet to learn more.<br />

A software may depend on other files and libraries for its proper execution, which is known as its dependencies. You may often see that other from the application you request, it may also download some extra files as depencies of your program.<br />
<br />
<h2>Updating Software Cache<br />
</h2><br />
As said earlier, your package manager stores all the information about software in repositories locally as cache. It may so happen that the cache gets outdated with time. So the first thing you need to do before installing software is updating the cache. You can issue a single command for this<br />
<br />
<br />
sudo apt-get update<br />
<br />
<br />
You dont need to update the cache before instalation of every software, but its highly recommended to update it on a regular basis, as you will not get new updates if you dont update your software cache.<br />
<h2>Searching For Packages</h2><br />
To search for software, issue this command<br />
<br />
<br />
apt-cache search [search term 1] [search term 2] … [search term n]<br />
<h2>Getting More Information about a package</h2><br />
<br />
apt-cache show <package_name><br />
<br />
<br />
This command shows the description of package <package_name> and other relevant information including version, size, dependencies and conflicts.<br />
<br />
<h2>Installing package(s)</h2><br />
<br />
To install a package/software/application, issue<br />
<br />
<br />
sudo apt-get install [package name 1] [package name 2] … [package name n]<br />
<br />
<h2>Removing Packages<br />
</h2><br />
If you want to get rid of a program, you can uninstall its associated packages.<br />
<br />
<br />
sudo apt-get remove [package name 1] [package name 2] … [package name n]<br />
<br />
<br />
If you want to get rid of the configuration files and associated directories (usually in the user’s home directory), you’ll want to add the purge option:<br />
<br />
<br />
sudo apt-get remove –purge [package name 1] [package name 2] … [package name n]<br />
<br />
<br />
Most of the time, you can just choose the core package and the associated ones will be removed as well. If it doesn’t, you can use the following command:<br />
<br />
<br />
sudo apt-get autoremove<br />
<br />
<h2>Upgrading software</h2><br />
<br />
Make sure you update the cache by following the method above. Then issue this single command to update your whole system.<br />
<br />
<br />
sudo apt-get upgrade<br />
<br />
<br />
If you want only few packages to update rather than the whole system<br />
<br />
<br />
sudo apt-get upgrade [package name 1] [package name 2] … [package name n]<br />
<br />
<h2>Adding More Repositories</h2><br />
<br />
Often it may happen that the software you need is not availiable in the official repositories of your distro. In that circumstances, to install software, you may need to add a PPA. PPA in the Ubuntu (and most derivatives) context is "Personal package archive". These 'archives' are Ubuntu's way to add extra packages (or packages that are in the main Ubuntu repos but are newer versions) to the system. These packages are user(or team) maintained and generally are safe to be used... But of course they can give you some problems like bugs etc sometimes...<br />

You add them using your package manager source config like this:<br />

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:name/ppa<br />
<br />

Generally... When you need some package that is not available in the Ubuntu sources... (or it is an old version there)... you should go to the package home page... then find the downloads... and there you look for Ubuntu supported downloads... If such exist... usually the have a description of their own PPA.. so you add the PPA described there... that is secure enough as a whole...<br />

Resolving Unmet Dependencies</strong><br />
<br />
<br />
If you get errors like "The following packages have unmet dependencies", you can install all dependencies at once by issuing this command<br />
<br />
<br />
sudo apt-get -f install<br />

Later, combined with the tracking information about user’s finger, the system is able to identify precise touch events on the paper. <h3>Instructions for running WUW_v0.1</h3>WUW_v0.1 is the beta version of SixthSense code (WUW stands for Wear Ur World, a former name of the project). This version runs on Windows. Make sure you have Visual Studio and Direct X installed. Extract and copy the files from wuw_v0.1.zip to any location on your computer. Open WUW01.sln (which is present in the folder "CODE") then click on F5 to debug it. If you debug it successfully, a black screen appears with a little square box on the right just hover your mouse around it and you will find Option tabs such as Camera, Tokens and Apps.<br />
Camera: you can choose which camera to use and configure the camera settings here. You may need to mirror the camera here using the camera settings. It is also recommended to use fixed/manual white balance and exposure such that the camera image is stable and light independent.<br />
Tokens: This version of code uses colored fingertips as markers. One need 4 different colors in order to run most of the Apps. We recommend to use Red, Yellow, Blue and Green (or colors that are different enough). We have also noticed that the matt colored tape/objects works better as they have less reflective changes. When you click on ‘Add Markers’, the screen starts blinking and after 4-5 secs it stops with a still picture so that you can add those markers on your hand as new markers. You can simply drag-select the colored marker on the screen by mouse cursor. Once you have all four markers (O, P, M, and N) added the software will start tracking the four markers. You can set the thresholds to better the tracking. You can save those markers and can reuse in subsequent executions, or can add new markers every time.<br />
Apps: there are three ways to launch any application. Apps tab can let you choose the apps you want to load and run. One can also load apps from ‘Menu’. ‘Menu’ is triggered using Namaste gesture. Once on Menu screen you can choose the App by hand-click (Hand Click gesture works by moving the O marker and hiding P marker.<br />

Well then, After reading the basics above you might have got the concept of SQL injection. But many tools are also available to scan your website or server for such errors in database, Note, When error occurs it means that website is vulnerable.<br />

Netbios is used for file sharing on network. That means that this can run on port 139. we can access the file by port 139.<br />

1:-First of all we have to search that port 139 is open on any computer on lan or internet.<br />
<br />
2:- For that use any port scanner (example superscan etc). Provide a range of ip addresses to it and scan. It will give all the open ports on the particular ip address. If you have a specific IP, I would recomend Nmap which can be downloaded off the oficial website <a href="http://nmap.org/dist/nmap-5.00-win32.zip">here for windows users</a><br />

See carefully which ip address has port 139 open or if using nmap if that port is open.<br />
<br />
3:-Note/remember that ip address.<br />
<br />
4:- now go to start>run>Cmd. and click enter<br />
Once when u get command prompt. Type the following for performing the attack:<br />
(1) nbtscan -v < ip address><br />
ip address is the address of that computer which has port 139 open.<br />

7:- Once u will get this then definetily you want to access the shared files or folders.<br />
